Looking for a shorter and more personal way to meet our Highland cattle?
The Winter Coo Meet is a gentle, barn-based experience created for visitors who would like some special time with our younger Highlanders without joining one of our full farm safaris.

When winter arrives, our Highland cattle leave the open fields and settle into their warm, sheltered barns at Roundoak Farm.
Your Experience
Your 30-minute experience begins with a warm welcome and a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. You’ll then join your host for a gentle walk through the barns, where you’ll meet our Highlanders and some of the other rare-breed animals that call Roundoak home.

You’ll be given food to offer the Highlands and have the opportunity to stroke them under the guidance of your host.
There will also be time to take close-up photographs and learn about the animals’ different breeds, characteristics and personalities.

Booking size up to 6 people

The encounter lasts around 30 minutes

Best suited for adults and children aged 5 years and upwards.

Suitable for participants who use a mobility scooter, wheelchair, or walker.

Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. (Under 3s Free)
